The ride back to the house seems to take forever and with each minute that passes, I can feel the tension between us growing. The feel of his hard muscles beneath my touch as I hold on to him for the drive home, it makes my fingers tingle. They’re so desperate to move and explore, but the back of his bike is not the place to do that. I don’t know if it’s because I know our time together comes with a deadline, but I don’t want to waste another minute. I want to be with Kellan, I want to give him all of me, and tonight is the perfect night to do that.

Would I be in such a rush to do this if Shayla hadn’t given me this ultimatum? Probably not, but I can’t say for sure. I care very deeply for Kellan, and the chances are we would’ve easily got to this stage anyway. I’m just moving things along a little quicker. But, no matter what, I know I won’t regret tonight. I don’t think I could ever regret anything involving Kellan.

When we arrive back at the house, all the lights are out, and we move through the house as quietly as possible. We’ve enjoyed it in our own little bubble these last few hours, and I don’t know about Kellan, but I’m not ready for that to end just yet. If Bree and Liam see us, or if Hallie wakes up, the bubble will burst and we’ll be forced back into our lives again. Kellan must have the same idea because he doesn’t even bother to turn the lights on, and instead takes hold of my hand, guiding me through the house. We have both lived here for so long, we can navigate this place in the dark.

The closer we get to the bedroom, the more my heart pounds and my body tingles. I can feel the anticipation coursing through my body like I’ve just taken a hit of the best drug available. The high I’m feeling right now is all Kellan, and I’m nowhere near ready for it to end.

The second we are in Kellan’s bedroom, I close the door behind me and Kellan wastes no time. Pushing me firmly against the back of the now closed door, his body presses flush against mine and our lips meet. At first they are soft and gentle, like he wants to give me a moment just to feel him, and I’m not surprised by his action. He’s touching and holding me like I’m a china doll, one that could break at any moment, and I don’t want that. I want him to show me what it’s like to really feel. I want all of Kellan, not a censored version.

“Don’t hold back with me, Kel. Give me everything. I can take it, I promise,” I whisper against his ear, and can’t deny how much I love the way his body ripples from the feel of my breath against his skin.
